Grace is from California and works professionally as a managing editor and site curator for a digital media publishing company. After tiring of the perfect weather in San Diego, she solo traveled for a year, covering Europe, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Canada, and India. Unintentionally at first, her experience led her deeper into the yoga practice she’d developed years prior as a teen, and her path led her physically to many yoga hotspots worldwide.

She ended her year of full-time travel by completing her first 200-hour yoga teacher training at Himalaya Yoga Valley in Goa, India. She had the opportunity to study under Lalit Kumar, one of only ~200 certified Ashtanga yoga teachers from the birthplace of Ashtanga yoga. He studied at the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore. She has a comprehensive education of yoga asana, meditation, chanting, pranayama, Ayurveda, anatomy, philosophy, and teaching methodology.

She's found herself back in Hawaii, where she spends her time away from her laptop practicing and teaching yoga, baking sourdough, puzzling (philosophical questions and jigsaw pieces), and floating in the ocean.
